War in the US

As life continues everyday.  Our experiences seem to never be the same when we are growing.  I have adult children, my husband and I have given them the tools to be self-sufficient in life.  They make decisions, have children, Now your a grandparent.  The unthinkable happens, your grand child's father is murdered.  How do you help your child, grandchild deal with the issue of being fatherless, not by his or her choices but the choices the parents have made.  Those things effects everyone.  Murder, drugs, did we let our childreen down, or have they let themselves down, not thinking or dealing with the actions that will follow there choices.

Immigration-To see it is to know better

My current travels have continued to make me see life in a different way.  I live in a border city.  The population is a large mexican population.  It is amazing to me, how i see more pregnant young girls, that drop out of high school.  I opened a business and requested resumes instead of providing an application, a 21 year old came in with her young baby, told me i should learn to speak spanish.  She also told me she never heard of a resume.   I was astonished to say the least.  As I continue to travel in the city, I hear of all thats going on in Juarez , Mexico and see children, wearing uniforms for schools in the United States and walking across the bridge into Mexico, where they live.  I see also a large number of people that have food stamp cards from the US, buy food here with them and go live in Mexico.  I can gurantee you, we could save a crap load of money if we cut out providing an American education to people not entitled to it.  If we check to see where kids are living and require them to maintain residency here in the states if they are eligible.  I see this with my own eyes, I see people that have visas and feel they dont need to speak the language of the land, ENGLISH.  The mexicans need to stand up in Mexico and earn the democratic government they seek.  That problem truly is not the United States of America's problem.  They are dealing with issues they created and now want to take advantage of the American Tax Payers.  Enough is enough.

Mothers that hate there children

Who said all mothers loved the children they bring into the world.  As an adult , i decided it is not necessary to call my mother , mom, she didn't raise, nor does she like me.  Her actions tell me she trys to protect her past lies, not the well being of me... her first born, she allowed me to be beaten by her husband and molested by him for many years, along with my other siblings.  Mentally, it hurts, i tolerate her because of my children and grandchildren.  Mental and physical abuse never goes away.  You can break the cycle, faith is what keeps us survivors moving forward.  What do you think?

Stella or Mrs. Cleaver

Well,
They talk about Stella getting her groove on.  I'm here in the Dominican Republic, watching on a daily basis, Wally Cleaver's mom getting her groove back on with her Mandingo.  I see it common for a lot of women to come to the island, spend a Lil time and little money.  They pick up the colored man of their choice and baby, he belongs to them until they leave.  The men are OK with it, you know being treated like a slut.  Or should we say, sex for hire.  I do see the women choosing men in the early twenties and up.  The cases of women engaging in child prostitution here I would guess is much lower.  The men that visit from Spain, usually have the younger girls, i would even guess at under the age of 18.  Back to Mrs. Clever, its almost a sigh of relief to see the women doing them.  They are comfortable with them selves no matter what the age and they are putting money into the Dominican economy.  Not only are the American women doing it, the Canadian women, french women and the list goes on.  Do we call that the liberation of women, I get what I pay for.  Watch out Stella, Mrs. Clever has gone international.

Dominican Republic after 4 months

I'm finding life so interesting.  We've been in the Dominican Republic for four months now.  I appreciate running water, clean water, the USDA, rights to vote and even PETA.  For they dont give a rats ass about the animals here.  They abuse dogs to no end.  If you ever wanted to know what life would be like without order, come to the Dominican Republic, stay outside the resort areas and you will know.  This country provides the dumbing down of a nation.  They talk about Haiti, but the Dominican Republic is not a safe place to eat food at the street vendors.  They usually dont have running water, so the sanitation level is horrific.  The people cook on the streets with propane gas next to the trash that hasnt been picked up.  If your concerned about Cholera, stay in the resort.  If you decide to come out the resort, its best you hire an escort to do all the speaking for you and direct you to the safe areas to purchase.  The people are said to be friendly but a pain in the ass they are, because they need to feed their families.  So when you hear, "welcome to my country, thank you for visiting, the game then begins".  Remember, they have Dominican prices and American prices, if you speak English, oh you will pay dearly.  Beaches are beautiful, resorts are safer.  Enjoy.

Global Change

It is impossible for people to continue to think the same way they did twenty years ago and expect a different result.  A lot of people vote like they did twenty years ago.  Ive come to the understanding of the global economy, if it's going to change in the United States, we have to find jobs outside the United States.  I see a trend of baby boomers relocating to countries , with a low cost of living but offer basic neccessities that contributes to the way of living.  If the place offers, running water, hot water heaters, I call these areas Americanized.  Being born an American this is part of the way of life for us.  We have been, (blessed) to be born in the best country in the world.  If your at  a turning point in life, children grown or in college, open your heart, minds and have faith on change.  Its very cost effective to open a small business.  Labor is cheap, outside of the US.  It is a commodity to speak American English in most countries, you would still pay taxes to the US government but in return boost the economy.  Talk to ya soon.

Dad's are they treated fairly when Divorcing?

It seems to me that nobody wants to talk about mothers that aren't good moms.  I tend to see a number of women, that receive child support, mental support to the children from the dad's and they (the mom) treat them like shit.  What the hell is hard about allowing a father to spend time with the children?Why is it so easy for a woman to regulate what the dad is doing with the children when he has them for the summer?It's ok for you to not answer to the dad on the activities the children participate in, why are they (the children being cared for by relatives on a long term basis.  Why is it ok for a mom to be just fucked up and the court system allows it?  Change is needed in a lot of the family law cases, mothers need to be challenged on what's in the best interest of the children.  Just because we're mom's doesnt mean we have our childrens best interest at heart.

Living abroad

I call it moving to paradise.  Due to the total economic collapse and losing a shit load of 401k, savings, kids college money, equity in real estate.  We've decided to simplify life.  Move to a country where the average person survives on $4850.00 per year.  We can live in a wonderful climate of 85 degrees.  Live on pension and retirement with money to spare.  The land of milk and honey has sent us globally searching to live off what we have right now.  We don't need a fancy car, huge house and a shit load of debt to enjoy the simple things in life, LIFE itself. My spouses company, the relief of keeping our two boys in college , and choosing careers that are more self-gratifying.  You know, things we like to do, not things we must do to survive.  I want to call it "the Good Life".  Its all about mental perception. 

What do you think?  Oh yeah the economy in paradise is one of the most stable economies in the global economy.  36 to every 1 US dollar.

BROKEN GOVERNMENT?

The government has been broke for a while.  Its like the streets in many northern cities.  Big ass potholes in the streets, they continue to fill them daily with hot tar, they patch them up.  Keeping people employed that repeadly patches up the same pot holes in the road.  You find in a years time, the pothole has been filled with tar over 500 times.  Instead of investing what it takes to fix the street properly, we let them us our tax paying money for a temporary fix.  Problem never resolved.  Until one day, someones car fall into a BIG ASS pothole , kills the driver, now its time to repave the road.  Its long over due.  We have a congress & senate that will retire, get life time health care and continue to screw us, allow us to suffer.  Is that what bein an American is really about?If it is my 110 year old grandma, got her ass whipped, beat, pissed on for nothing. 

Whose guilty, the Dr. or and the parents?MOLESTATION

It just blows me away, parents are feeling they have been victimized by a peditrician.  He has pictures of babies as young as 3 months old.  Why the fuck would you leave your child unattended at a Dr.'s office?America has become so lazy and continues to allow abuses to happen not only to society but to there own children.  Now, is the time of conversation on many levels.  ten years ago, it wasnt talked about.  All the fucked up shit people did to each other, children, etc., was kept in the closet.  Now it's discussed.  The worst case is parents continue to go on living in a fantasy world, that people are perfect, regardless of color, religion, social background and so on.  WAKE-up, smell the shit!  You have a responsibility to your children to protect them.  In protecting them, we have to listen to them, not ignore them, not tell them they are liars, listen to them, read their actions and fucking stop leaving your children with people because they are doctors, so what, your first priority is to protect that child, not make your live easy.  How does a man fondle, children take pictures of them and you the parent dont Know? Not just any man your kids dr.
